INDRAYANTI BEACH - A Clean Beach with Cafe Restaurants
When we got to Indrayanti beach, the sun wasn't up yet. Even though the wave was moving away, two sea snails moved slowly in a crack in the rock. A group of teenagers talked and posed for pictures every once in a while. In the west, it looked like three people were running around trying to catch the waves, while others were chilling out in the middle of the gazebo and eating fresh young coconuts with fruit. Some inns with a "back to nature" theme stand proudly at the base of the hill, while a stilt house and huts that look like traditional Papuan homes stand near the water. A yellow jet ski was stacked up in the corner of the restaurant.
The beach with the rocky cliffs is on the east side of Sundak Beach. It has a different view than some of the other beaches in Gunung Kidul. Indrayanti Beach has white sand, a rocky hill, and clear blue water that seems to be calling tourists to jump in. It also has a row of restaurants, cafes, and inns that will treat tourists well. In a restaurant that faces the beach, you can order everything from seafood to fried rice. At night, flickering lights will make beach gazebos look nice. Dinner at the cafe with the sound of the wind and waves will be a romantic experience you'll never forget.
When the name "Indrayanti Beach" was brought up before, it caused a lot of trouble. The owner of the cafe and restaurant is named Indrayanti, not the beach. Since this beach's cafe and restaurant had a sign that said "Indrayanti," people started calling this beach "Indrayanti Beach." Pulang Syawal Beach is what the government calls this beach. But more people know and use the name Indrayanti than they do the name Pulang Syawal. It seems that having private people help run Indrayanti Beach was a good thing. The beach along Indrayanti Beach looks clean and free of trash, which is different from the other beaches. This is because the manager is not afraid to fine tourists Rp. 10,000 for every piece of trash they throw away carelessly. Because of this, Indrayanti Beach has become a nice place to go.
After eating fried rice and coconut ice in the gazebo, we headed to the east side hills. Since there was no road, they could go through bushes and climb rocks to get where they were going. When we got to the top of the hill, we could see all the way to the Indian Ocean. Some birds flew with reeds in their wings to make a nest. When the sound of the wave and the sound of the wind came together, they made a beautiful and relaxing orchestra. We looked westward. Some beaches with hills between them looked like they were lined up. The gazebo and stage house looked small, but the people looked like little men. When it was getting close to dusk, this spot was a good place to watch the sun go back to its place of rest. We had to hurry to get home, which was too bad. Even though I haven't seen a beautiful sunset at Indrayanti Beach, its charm has stayed with me.
